Corridor People

The Corridor People project is a series of short films showcasing the inspirational and influential people that live and work in the Corridor Manchester (Oxford Road) area. A positive portrayal of subjects both photographed and interviewed demonstrating the individual strengths, diversity and talent of chosen subjects and in-turn validating Manchester as a world class city and destination.

Our aim was to create a piece for each interview subject that shows a balance between work and personal life without being too intrusive. A realistic view of the subject, their thoughts and an insight into where they work, who they are, what they do, their passions, beliefs and motivation. And most importantly what it is about Manchester that captivates that person and keeps them here.

Manchester is over flowing with talent, world firsts, technology masters, medical and educational superstars and visionary leaders in all fields and sectors. It’s hard to comprehend that all these people are just down the road and doing great things for our city. Learning about their achievements and motivations has been nothing short of inspirational.

We recently published the first five interviews which live on the Corridor Manchester website, links below. We’ve also set up a dedicated vimeo channel which is also home to the videos completed so far.

More info on the project will be published soon along with more interviews, in the meantime check our gallery of taster images above and check the videos on vimeo.
