We Love MCR
We like to think we are full of ideas, constantly researching and brainstorming for clients but how do you turn something really negative into something positive very quickly?
As our studio is in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter we witnessed a lot of negativity over one evening but also an amazing outpouring of love for the city. Marketing Manchester alongside many other city partners have spearheaded the ‘I Love Mcr’ campaign over the last few weeks featuring print campaigns and events which has been a real success.
After a meeting this week with the great and good of Manchester we came up with a very simple idea to show our love for the city but also to spread that message further. With any good ideas you need even better people to implement them and without Fiona & Daisy from Down at The Social alongside Marketing Manchester this would not of happened.
So here is the plan:
To let off hundreds of biodegradable balloons from Exchange Square, from 4-6 but each carrying a personal message from the people of Manchester. The idea is for the balloons to be found and if brought back to a specified point, a prize will be awarded.
Simple idea and now we need everyone to get involved, please visit the designated stall between that time and show your love for our city.
